Maximum per hour rate paid?

Dear all,


What is the maximum per hour rate paid to a postman? Im currently receiving £12 per hour on a 25 hours per week role. I have been working for approx 13 months for RM.
Will the rate get increase according to the service year? There are many postman working for more than 15 years in my delivery office. How much approx will they be getting?

thats good 12 pound per hour im not on that and ive done nearly 30 yrs

I've just worked out my basic pay,RRIS(sort of London weighting type payment) and del supplement then divided it all by 39(hours) and it came to £11.60 per hour.
Saying that,I don't think we are paid X amount per hour,It's more like X amount per week I think anyway!

Yes you are correct. Usually it come as a certain amount per week. I just calculated per hour basis. I notice in my contract per week amount is approx £465 per week. Is that the maximum a postman can receive?

not if you do 30 hours docket your not making sense

No. The RRIS was incorporated into their basic pay I believe.

39'er here gets £394.76 + the delivery supplement bollox
laughing aside, £10.63 p/h for unskilled labour isn't to be sniffed at, not here anyway

Depends how you look at it, our running,ghost overtime boys quite regularly get 3 hrs "overtime" for about an hours work which they generally do within their duty time, so looking at it that way they're on about £40 for that one hours work.
