How has the relationship changed with the new click and collect service.

amazon must be in a mess with there delivery of there items it seems anyone with a car or battered white van can deliver
there amazon items, only last week i spoke to one of there drivers who was looking in a a to z of london i asked what street he wanted he said the road when looking at his paper work his area was for north west london.

used to order loads from amazon but closed my account since they switched to using cheap courier drivers. can alwasy find it cheaper elsewhere if you look.plus had problems with amazon logistics.

royal mail should say to amazon 'if you want to use us use us for eveerywhere not just for the rurals. or charge em more for that.

Royal Mail and Parcel Force should try to make it exclusive contract with parcels and cut out hdnl and Yodel and co. Amazon need reliable delivery otherwise people will get annoyed and move elsewhere.

I saw an Amazon docket for the first time Yesterday hanging out of the letterbox so I had a look at it.

It said 'package in the red bin'. Just to the left of the front door was a red bin with no lid on it and a package clearly visible and open to the elements.

I was a little bemused by this until amusement took over.

I've seen a few blank Yodel ones laying around on the ground out on delivery, but I've not seen the driver though.
The Amazon "man with a van" doesn't even bother with them at all as last week we saw him get out and walk up to a back gate and do a basketball style shot to lob a packet over it and it hit the ground with a loud thud too, and he didn't even bother to knock. No door knock prior to delivery or even a card to say he'd "left" it behind the gate either, he then went back to his van and drove off.


I've had similar treatment from them. Parcels left in plain sight, about three yards from the pavement, also left with a neighbour, despite instructions not to do so along with countless failed deliveries when using Amazon Prime Next Day delivery.
They've never ever once used a phone number on the account to contact us about deliveries to tell us they've delivered, despite the fact they say that's what they need it for. ALso we've had ghost deliveries where they claim their driver has delivered and he hasn't. Our neighbour has video cameras and we can see from that if anyone comes to our door but nothing at all shows up on any recordings. I've also had items showing up on my account as delivered up to an hour before the actual time and nothing had been delivered. We've had feeble excuses about deliveries from their Customer Services people and all they do is offer an extension on our Amazon Prime Account. We're cancelling our Amazon Prime account after Xmas, when it needs to be renewed, and will use other methods to get online goods, by using Ratuken (Play.com) and anyone else if this is how they treat their customers.
No wonder people complain about them

All very laudable but we are all part of the problem. Who volunteers to pay more postage or not buy goods because they are cheaper.Most of the couriers are on a one off payment and not much of one at that. The more you off load 1st time means you get paid. Redeliverys are for free.

amazon merely provide the logistics. they use cheap agency workers to deliver their parcels. a packet delivered by amazon logistic has a 100 percent first time delivery rate, if your in you get it and if your not in it gets left whereever the courier can throw it too

No it isn't a 100% first time delivery rate. Check out the people complaining about non-deliveries on the Amazon forums and all the thousands of complaints they're getting.

Amazon logistics? New couriers for Amazon? (Loads of complaints on there about couriers constantly failing to deliver)
