Carpal tunnel syndrome

Had this with my middle finger which needed an operation as couldn't straighten the finger about 4 years go and now have got it again with my index finger same hand. Doctor thinks its due to constantly holding or picking up bundles of mail.
Does any other posties on delivery suffer with it.
Its mostly at night times I get the most pain and have to straighten the finger with the other hand

That doesn't sound like carpal tunnel to me, I've had it, pins and needles, numb aching arm. My wife had it in both hands and several guys at work have had it also. My operation to relieve it took about a minute. Sounds more like trigger finger to me. Repetitive strain injury? Possibly. Starting to get symptoms in my other hand now, probably due to constantly gripping the trolley.

both wrists done and right hand to combat trigger finger, you'll get the dreaded pf soon , perks of the job but one day our claims will be honoured.
