How much do you eat?

Post by Ray Von »

The missus has given me grief for clearing out the cupboards again!! What really frustrates her is the fact that I don't put weight on. Does anyone else feel the need to gorge because of the physical nature of the job? Or am I just a greedy sod?

I eat a yoghurt and a banana at break time, then another banana halfway round the walk. It's not like we're burning thousands of calories off, look how many posties are overweight!

Have breakfast at home and 2 bananas for the round

We get caught in the middle ground with the times we finish, it is too late for lunch and too early for dinner :arrrghhh

Porridge before leaving for work. Two rounds of toast and a biccy with coffee at ten. Bar chocolate on second loop. Two sarnies and a small pork pie or scotch egg for lunch followed by banana. Another bar of chocolate on penultimate loop. Home for 4.30/5ish and ready for evening meal. Bran Flakes before bed. Cholesterol level 4.

In proportion Maisy, in proportion. Just had me annual check up and the Doc said best set of blood tests he had seen all day. Not bad for an old git that is about to retire early next year. Will have to cut down on the toast though because without the walking I might just pile on the pounds.
