only a court of law can decide that not RM

You have a defence in Law as we drive a 'red' van IE: it is down to our employer to ensure its MOT'd and Taxed

if you are stopped for driving an uninsured/No MOT van than your transport manager/ DOM will be looking for a new job as they have a duty of care for you/us who drive

So if you owened your own van YOU would be liable for any fine but as an Employee its down to Royal Mail to stump up........upto £50,000

You can check tax/not with the above link. Royal mail are a self insured business so that should be OK.
