Not as far as I'm aware, the process of picking boxes is underway and we are scheduled at the moment to lose 70ish and they aren't all rural. Our rural boxes have been emptied on delivery for a number of years.

I know that the YO postcoded area of the country is gaining 350 boxes from collections onto delivery.

I do apoloise, I forgot nothing else exists outside London, all other answers to original question are about generic collections going onto deliveries and not London.

The London Divisional Committee pulled out of all talks on postbox strategy as there was no peoples plan for this collection Hubs who would lose pillar boxes to Delivery officers.

As a result of the Unions stance we are now in negotiations where we will be modelling all the collection hubs and will provide a menu of options for indivduals who will not have a collection full time following the collection best praticse revision which includes VR , bump vrs , upgrading to professional driving , maintaining a job by performing a delivery and then collections plus a few other options.

We are meeting all collection reps and once we have a joint statement. Will be meeting the members and Branch's.

The collection hubs are impacted in different ways as the inner hubs are losing less then the outer hubs as the criteria is that the pillar box has to have less than 50 items per day.

Peoples Plan is that the "Our People" so beloved of RM speak.............well good luck with that - it isn't just 50 items though is it it's a little bit more complex than that, I thought there was also a proximity criteria but that may only be outside London.
