Ban early birds coming in the DO.

Management need to ban early birds coming in the delivery office a hour before their time as its not just throwing their boxes off now in my office its a case of them getting up to mischief now, it only take 10 minutes to throw a box off so why are they in a hour before?
The last few weeks in my office they are mixing people's bags up around the frames pulling the plugs out off the overhead lights for the frames knowing full well some people like the lights, its only a matter of time someone will be badly injured in the office through stupidity then Romec are coming out for practically nothing to put a plug back in.
How stupid are these people? Can't sleep Won't sleep. Oh and they all drink these Red Bull Hyper active drinks. Sad init...

Our rep has given up on this now. Raises it at every meeting with boss who says "yeah, no one needs to start early, I'll stop it" but then it just carries on.

we all know the ones and see loads of mail in their pigeon holes every day after they've left, quite often when ips still being done,
not that i want anyone to get dismissed but some have a different rule book to others as the managers see this happening but don't/wont challenge the clique

It's the same for the ones who don't take breaks, throw in all door to doors on a Saturday, don't use equipment, cut corners etc etc. blinkered to the fact they are killing their own futures. I particularly enjoy the ones who come in Saturday when they are on holiday to throw all their door to doors in for the Monday.

What sort of office are you working in if people are leaving before IPS is done? In ours nobody gets the specials until all missorts are circulated, it doesn't matter if you're tied up at 8.30 cos you won't be getting the specials for another 45 minutes minimum!

honestly, when i walk in mon/tue/sat some are bagged up & ready for off, some are on the same hours as me too, even if that as a bearing,
they still leave even if there's loads of mail still left to sort, they may mop up a few items, but the mail is not completely done,
manager is well aware of this, later they shout all to make sure miss sorts are done knowing full well some have already left leaving quite a bit too.
union rep is fully aware too and allows it to continue despite calls for more equality amongst staff.
as you can guess i'm not in the clique

Must have different rules up north since last revision no one comes in early everything gets weighed everyone takes there break,no one leaves the office for delivery until 10am earliest and most don't complete delivery is a siege mentality.

People have been coming in early since I started in the 80's it's not a new thing.
In order for the management to stop them doing it would mean an actual manager to be in early to stop them coming in= no feckin chance.

Union rep is fully aware.yes I bet he is. and I bet he has told you ALL to feckin stop it,but would you all just walk out if he said let's all walk,would you f**k,plenty of big gobs giving it large then scurry off to do their extra overtime or work their day off or get done just as early as the so called runners as they are on piss easy walks to start off with.

Alternatively you simply remove from their frames all the mail they have prepped by coming in early.

we have people come in 3 hours early on a Monday to prep door to doors, then come in early every day after that,then complain when we double and triple lapse. I have even seen postmen out on delivery when I am going to work,and they start at the same time as me.i have also turned up for work and been the only postman there the rest are already out on delivery,so we lose rounds out of the d.o because says the dom everybody is finishing early.i have even been called into the doms office and asked why I have to be different to everybody else? easy I am not stupid,and yes I have been bullied and harassed by dom like you would never believe,but every dog has is day.
