commsave loans - poor credit history

Post by al6320 »

Hi does anyone have experience with commsave while having a terrible credit record and are they likely to still approve you for a loan when everyone else says no?

Have sent them 2 messages asking and explaining situation but still am none the wiser so any help appreciated.

Reason: Changed title to more accurately reflect the question. It looked like you were making commsave to be poor lenders ;-)

Sometimes they respond to emails quickly,Othertimes slowly and now and then not even atall.
Service has gone downhill over the past few years,Go with Penny post or 1st class credit union,Much more friendly and efficient.

I would expect Commsave are more likely to provide a loan than many lenders IF you fulfill their criteria.
As you may already realise they look at regular medium-term income and affordability.
They're certainly a better option than ripoff 'payday lenders' when it comes to having a poor credit history.

Commsave's loan application form requires you list your income after deductions plus all your outgoings.
Be sure to factor in expenses such as Christmas and birthdays as well as the usual utilities/ car/home insurance etc.
Don't try to max your loan application amount! I would think ideally you could save with Commsave in addition to paying back a loan.
You would pay more in interest that way but you may appear more responsible.
