Mediators - Are They Doing/Will They Do Any Good At All ?

I would be interested to hear peoples views and experiences with Mediators (Internal and External). I have heard mixed reports from non-Royal Mail sources about the benefits or otherwise of using them. My own personal view is that they are a sticking plaster to heal a gaping wound when it comes to Bullying & Harassment within RM but I'd be more than happy to be proved wrong.
