Changes announced to Canterbury's postal service

The Royal Mail is changing how it delivers post to the people of Canterbury, as part of a national transformation scheme.

The postal service will now be spread across the morning, and into the afternoon. This means that, depending on their position on the new delivery route, some people will not be able to reliably get their post until lunchtime. Others may get their post earlier than they do now.

The Royal Mail are also warning that these arrangements may need to be adjusted, as the volume of mail changes. Anyone who lives in a CT1-4 postcode will receive a letter from the Royal Mail, detailing these changes.

If customers have any concerns, or questions after receiving the letter, they can call 0845 601 1399. Deaf or hard of hearing customers can use the Textphone number: 0845 600 0606.
