Just a simple question from a simple postie, me personally at the age of 50 I think I,ll try and get out with me shares and find a nice cushy number, like an MP ,or, well you tell me?

left RM, small holding, no water or sewage rates, low council band rate, no heating bills, still grafting 6 days a week but at a pace which my body can handle. Will work till I drop, but with no manager except when doing some low paid job to get some actual cash once in a while. Back to home brewing too.

probably still be nose to the grindstone.. working to make ends meet as this government is absolute s.h.1.t. and doesn't care one jot about the working class.

I'll be retired, maintaining an allotment for adults with disabilities and learning difficulties as my community contribution, being a domestic god and making my wife's life easier as due to the age rule changes she will now work several years more than me, and finally taking regular sensible exercise instead of racing against the clock every day.
The thing I will most look forward to is being able to do things when it suits me instead of when the business allows it, might be a bit unusual having every Saturday off, but I am sure I will cope.
I will have worked for 49 years with only 3 months out of work and probably around the same amount of time in sick leave so I think I have earned my rest. I have the greatest of respect for the guys and girls I will leave behind at my office - great people who all work hard - just hope the future is kind to them and they reach my time of life in good enough condition to enjoy it.

Probably doing the same duty still. I don't mind the job at all, it's still by far the best job I've ever done.
