Leaving mail as instructed- still not delivered!

Been on the new duties for 6 weeks now. For the first few weeks I stayed out to the bitter end with my heavy HTC duty. But now want to finish on time and go home. It is do-able on Mon/Tue/Sat and the odd Friday. Last week when I asked the DIM for advice as I wanted to finish, was told it was too early to ask and instead to "crack on" with the sorting! Needless to say I had to leave the bottom row to finish on time. This part of the delivery had gone out by the time I got back. Today I approached our DIM later in the morning and he agreed I could leave the bottom section again. This time it was still on the frame when I got back- and because I got back 15 mins before the time I was due to finish was told I could have taken it anyway!! I thought you had time before the end of your duty to deal with any parcels etc you had carded! And quite how I could have done 30 mins of delivery and still got finished on time makes no sense. Tomorrow is highly likely to be as bad but the impression I got was I would need to take all the mail out. I have no intention of going over tomorrow what are my options? Union support in our office is nill as there is no representive and no one from the area has been in the office since the new duties started. So the DIMs can "crack on bullying!"

I agree you still have things to do when you get back to the delivery office
You Should of said to DOM you have not finished yet Got parcels to do etc.
As long as you did not leave 15 min early.
You must tell DOM you do not wish to work over and you don't think
you will complete, Ask Dom what to do Bring back, Leave etc.
If DOM is not informed and you bring back mail, This could be classed as wilful Delay Be Very Careful.
