Goodbye to you my rusty friend
our time together must now come to end,
together we climbed hills and trees
learned our sorting abc's
skinned our hearts and skinned our knees!


Goodbye my bike this is goodbye
when all the birds are singing in the sky,
now that the spring is in the air
hct's are everywhere
think of me and i'll be there!


We had joy we had fun
delivering letters in the sun
but the hills that we climb
meant we worked up til our time!


Goodbye my bike please pray for me
i'm now the rep for health and safety!
Trying to teach them right from wrong
too much beer and too much song
wonder how you got me home!

Goodbye my bike this is goodbye

if you saw them you would swear!


We had joy we had fun delivering parcels in the sun
but the wine and the song like my bike they have all gone! (x2)

you took me there and delivered in the sun
and every time that I was down
you would always come around
and get my feet right off the ground!

I push trollies everywhere
but how I wish that you were there!

they'll put our jobs out of reach! (x2)

but the hills that we climb we just worked our bloody time.
