Accident on duty

Can anyone tell me if u have an accident on duty, does it go down as sick, I always thought it didn't, also what about dog bites, if u go off sick for a dog bite, is this put down as a sickie.

Accidents on duty should be discounted from the attendance procedure ......unless they deem it to be your fault.

I bet they'd love to deem all accidents as the posties fault.. undue care and attention etc.

Usually they will blame a postie,but usually it will be the postie who did not update the log book about the dog or the dodgy paving slab etc.

I'm listing some more dog warnings to my walk log, after a near miss the other week with one that was not on a lead - this one is already listed in my walk log. It made me rethink ALL houses that have dogs, even "friendly" ones that are not an issue to me, as my friend has 3 "ankle-biters" that just get excited when they see you, but they may not do the same for someone else(?) even though they are friendly. That'll take the count up to about 12-15 from 3 dog warning cards already in place.

Am I going on overkill adding all the dogs that I know of or am I playing safe as it were?

Too true that one pulled my back on duty asistant dom rang me said if I didn't return to work that week he said his boss was gonna hold be copable with injuring myself at work think that's the word he used
