Week off has been changed

I was due to have a week off in a few weeks time, it has been in the Annual Leave book for at least 5-6 months ( the AL book has now been changed) The new holiday sheets have been given out and I see that my week off has been changed to a 2 days one week and 2 a week or so later I can only imagine they have been inundated with peeps wanting to see the derby and have decided that I can bear the brunt of it.

OK do what can I throw at the ringpieces?
Can they f@&k me over like this,with less than 3 weeks to go?

Just show them your flight booking for holiday (if there is one)

There isn't one, it was just going to be a jolly down to London. I'd still like the week I was supposed to have up until last week. If they'd asked me I'd have at least pretended to give a damn about their non-existent resourcing skills and then said no anyway.

what did they say when you asked them why they had changed it?

I only found out what had happened on returning to the office after finishing my walk. By that time the brass hats had scarpered so I couldn't take them to tack about it. I'm going in to work tomorrow and I was hoping to have something airtight to back up my case otherwise they'll try and bulls**t me.

If you've still got a print out from before they changed it take it to the dom tell him you have plans and you can't change your week off

Sadly I don't have the original print off but I have people who will vouch that I was due to have the week as they either had the same week or approached me to ask me to swap my week for theirs.

That Monday is part of my long weekend anyway!) and a Thurs/Fri a fortnight later ( dunno where the extra day has gone and they owe me a day from Xmas too). I can only imagine they have been inundated with peeps wanting to see the Tyne/Wear derby and have decided that I can bear the brunt of it. It just so happens that the match day is me and the wife's anniversary and I was planning a trip to celebrate.

OK do what can I throw at the ringpieces?
Can they f@&k me over like this,with less than 3 weeks to go?

Tell them you are going to the game and are going to celebrate/commiserate for the rest of the week.
