confused about overtime

I've not long turned full time and i'm a float, everyone seems to put down different overtime to each other.

If my hours finish at 14.20 and i get finished dead on 14.20 and i've only had 20 minutes of my break, do i add the other 20 on the end as overtime?

or say i get finished at 14.50. do i add going over 30 minutes and then 20 minutes break which = 50 minutes overtime? thats not right surely

We in our office are not allowed to add on break-time not taken if you don't take it then that's your choice.

in our office 20 mins before you go out which only a few of us take. and 20 mins at end of duty but if you work over your duty time and dont take the 20 mins at the end then you should book it as o/t otherwise your working for free.
