I got a knock at my front door this afternoon, A lady was standing outside and she asked me was my name XXXX which I gave ,
she said YODEL had delivered my mattress to her address which was the other side of town left it outside her front door for everyone to see as it was in clear plastic , our roads are not even similar in name .
A letter will be going off to Yodel and also the company that used them
I must say that I have found Yodel to be one of the best, my area driver knows I am a postie and will sometimes find me on delivery with a package rather than leave a card.

so not only do you carry parcels to deliver, you also carry your own parcels that should have been delivered,no wonder Deliveries moan about the weight they carry,(tongue in cheek)
There is a forgotten, well almost a forbidden word, which means more to me than any other.
A guy in my office (he might read this actually) had a packet delivered by Yodel a few weeks ago. The first time they delivered it to the right number but wrong street. The second time they did exactly the same. The third time they not only delivered it to the wrong street again, they even delivered to the wrong number as well
on my window is a notice telling any delivery people to try 2 of my neighbours ( they are retired and always in) on one day I was over at my neighbours house when they (yodel)pulled up at my house, I wasn't ex[ecting anything but I ran out saying 'hello I live there my house, my parcel I'm here' their answer 'sorry can't deliver to anyone but the householder' I said I am the householder gimmee 2 mins I'll show you my driving licence - they refused point blank to wait and drove off
they also left a card saying they had tried all my neighbours but they were out!
I phoned up and complained the person on the phone told me ALL my neighbours had refused to take the parcel and that the driver had tried 10 houses without success - I said this was not true and explained but was told I would have to collect from a depot 30 miles away or pay to have it redilvered
I told them to return it then instructed the company that sent it to resend it RM

I hate yodel!
That's what you get from workers paid per parcel about 50p urban and £1 rural I believe.
Had loads of experiences with Yodel, All terrible. I always opt for DPD whenever possible, Their 1 hour slot is awesome, GHL do the same (same company I think? )
strange ive just seen a lad from yodel come my door, 2 asains trying to give me a packet for around 9 miles away thinking it was mine my street is nothing like what they was looking for
