Going by the book it all depends, RWO's work like Holiday Pay. Holiday pay must equal the average pay in the qualifying period that earned it discounting non-contractual overtime, i.e. if you worked 12 weeks and got say a shift allowance and bonus weekly for those 12 weeks, the week of holiday pay must be the same rate and reflect this. You earn the RWO for working 5 consecutive SATURDAYS only. Therefore if 3 of those 5 Saturdays were at full-time you would expect 60% of the pay for that RWO at full-time and 40% at your normal part-time rate. That is the intent behind our various laws "a worker should not be financially disadvantaged for taking their annual holiday/leave entitlement". But I bet you don't get it.DarkXavier wrote:Hello,
The union rep at my office has managed to get all the part timers made up to 39 hrs for Chrimbo, which is nice.Just wondered if we will get full time pay when on a rotational week off?
Cheers
