In our office there I s going to be a meltdown before Xmas,there is not enough staff since the revision.
The tracked and parcels are going through the roof and don't get me started on d2d's,the staff are all hacked off with what's going on and even the less militant guys are ready for any industrial action is this happening all over.

same in our office still lapsing , going over arguments everyday , workloads unreal ,b&h is rife , weve all had enough now nearly 4 years down the line with the wonderful p&l , we should have gone out on strike on the 4th , don't think I can take much more of this. cwu sort this mess out for f**k sake.

I will be cutting off as Royal Mail can stick their 20p above the normal rate for O/t and below the normal rate after 10 hours .... I wasn't born yesterday I would rather finish on my time than bust my balls in the dark for a few crumbs more

Royal Mail cannot force you to do overtime ...... overtime is not compulsory ..... trust me when I say this .... I will be cutting off as Royal Mail can stick their 20p above the normal rate for O/t and below the normal rate after 10 hours .... I wasn't born yesterday I would rather finish on my time than bust my balls in the dark for a few crumbs more

Exactly this. Start on time, work at a good pace and finish on time. If you finish under one day then be a little flexible another if you can. (Not compulsory!). Be firm but fair, if managers don't like it there isn't a thing they can do.

I foresee wildcat strikes if the Agreement does not come up trumps both in words and practice for delivery. I am ready for that particular fight!

This is delivery we are talking about. Some people in my office will rather treat someone worse than a 'scab' if one dare mentions doing the job properly and coming in on their time. Some will just not have it. Some many stupid reasons and excuses: I have kids for example, but your children do not finish school until after 3pm but you want to get home for 12.30/1pm

It is hard but can be done and must be done I do it get called all names for it don't care I go home on time everyday no matter what!

Is that before or after the DOM'S adjustments to your hours, minuets, seconds.

I am in an office like that. This morning we'd been off IPS 15 minutes and half the office was waiting for mail because they'd thrown all their sequencing in before start time. My and my partner were one of the last pairs out of the office, despite the fact we'd fully prepped, tied up and loaded our walks in 90 minutes on a shite day. (Plus had a 20 min break, which virtually everyone takes as the manager enforces it under H&S rules and quite rightly).

No manager can say that's underperforming, in actual fact our manager knows we're quick but he also knows we don't start early and don't work for free so when we cut off he doesn't question it.
