What do you do if it's in tatters? It's the last thing on your bundle, it's getting rubbed, soaked and manhandled for 20 minutes and in an readable condition.
So, do you 'post' it through the letterbox or screw it up and stick it in your pouch to be put in the bin later .......... Then risk being sacked for wilful delay!

Mailsort arrives at the inward MC the day before it's due for delivery so if you get any on your walk deliver it, don't give the DOM a reason to do you for wilful delay. Also one mail reaches the inward MC it's ALL 1C!
I know what you mean, sometimes the wafer thin ones stick to your arm, get ripped by the elastic bands or completely melt in the rain. I just post them - many of the silly thin ones I post rip as they go through the letter box but I've never had a complaint.
