it is your right! call his bluff, it will give him even more work, if you need to walk back to the office to still finish at your correct finishing time then he is going to have to deliver the mail you would have had time for if he drove you back

his excat words to me u have to be flexible in this job my reply back to him was i work my contracted hours nothing more nothing less but hes the type who comes in early well i dont care anymore lol i used to do docket but got sick of arguing over 30 mins 40 mins there not worth the stress for 4 or 5 quid lol

If he wants flexibility let him flex you work your hours you have a contract you work to it I applaud you for doing so if only their were more like you!

you could try and get him for B+H already, but the RM would probably shrug it off as they always do as its your word against his.
If its as bad as you say then you could actually allow him to carry out his threat and if he doesnt drive you back to the office and you end up walking back making you go over your time, then make sure you see a manager on your return, document your finish time on sign in sheet, claim the OT and then put the B+H complaint in. This case would then have a much higher chance of being resolved as there would be a clear paper trail, and he would get into some pretty big trouble.

i dont get hese ppl. i worked with a part timer on 20 hr but he was working 60 hours a week. he was moaning about not getting more hours and having to collapse. yet when i said to him lets cut off he said no cant do that. i just work my hours now.

It all comes down to ghosting overtime, which should have stopped a long time ago, but RM choose to ignore like they do with everything else like coming in early, not taking break, running round etc as long as it suits, & job gets done they don't care. This scenario is common, & tends to be the flyers who want to have duty & overtime done before scheduled finish! That's fine!, but they have to do more bits of loops if they are on p&l & want to get back early!
