No I am not all that clever. If I was clever I would have seen this written on the wall and got out years ago but I have just hung on hoping things would perhaps get better

We have been forced by the way of privatisation into a sudden and uncertain situation. We know by looking at other industries which have undergone this change that the terms and conditions of its employees have not always changed for the better so people are worried about their future.

We are unsettled, we don’t like change, its not something that has been the norm in our jobs, we are not used to it. Many people feel un happy and angry towards RM which depending on your option is justified or not.

Thankfully we have a Union which is far from perfect but at least will fight in our corner and try to protect our full time employment and the conditions which we currently have. Now we can all sit about and hold our heads and moan about how unfair the situation is or we can make a stand and support the union and our local reps by participating in a day of action.
