I left the union after the last round of strikes when we had them by the nuts just before xmas but gave in. Can I join in this upcoming strike without being a member?

Yes - You'll have the same protection as Union members as it will be a legal strike.

Just wish we could do a work to rule and none of these pr*ts coming in early unpaid it would mean we would get paid and RM would be in the s**t with Xmas approaching

RM wouldn't be in the s**t, because no office is based on people coming in early and working for free.
More probably any subsequent failures resulting in this work-to-rule you are proposing would simply lead to RM looking at individuals performance standards.
And any office that is full of early starters wouldn't have the conkers to adopt a work to rule or face up to the resulting harassment.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.
