This evening on Dave, Dave Gorman had a TV show called Modern life is goodish.

on the show Dave had some envelopes with clear panels on the front and put 4 x £5 in separate envelopes, 4 x £10 the same and 4 x £20 all in separate envelopes and addressed them to himself and posted them all in different boxes.

ALL arrived at their destination, 3 in Royal Mail envelopes with red " sorry your letter was damaged " stickers on, however they were all in tact and put in for safety reasons at a guess by the postie / sorter.

However ALL the money arrived at the destination and none was stolen.

Goes to show that RM can still be trusted. :)

its an age old trick - rubbish the business in question , paint the picture it will be much better if privatised, privatise , then ching ching , redistribution of wealth .

I too would love to think this was through the honesty of the posties and I hope it was, but I think even the lowest IQ most criminally minded postie would think that this was a test of some sort?

Several letters going to same address, roughly same time, with same handwriting. My first thought would be test letter.

I think the fact that they were addressed to Dave Gorman,the bloke on the telly from that Modern Life show would also set the alarm bells ringing.

Not Addressed to Dave Gorman, were addressed to a different name.

all went if different boxes though so even the cut and tip people could have been different offices etc, although with all the mech machines in use now, the mail does not go through as many hands as it used to.
