Fiat Dobbies
Getting used to my Fiat doblo and it's not too bad all - (apart from the seat needs 'pumping up' every 30 mins and the rear doors don't catch all the time and tend open 270 degrees into traffic). However I have one question - (assuming I have received 'training' on how to change a spare wheel ) how does one get the spare tyre out from under the van, when the plastic floor in the in back has been screwed in, in a dozen or more places? I even doubt whether the RAC bod would do it!

it's a twat mate, get all the stuff for changing it should be in a bag behind the passengers seat, one bit of it slots into a little slot near the back doors it goes in flat with the floor, then you put another bit of kit on the end and turn it the tyre will fall down take it off, it's attached by a wire, then we turn it back to get the wire and a little plastic thing back up to the floor of the van, leave it there,
change the wheel, it's straight forward enough, it's just knowing how to do it with no bloody log book!!! provided, the slot is not easy to find.
after that keep the spare in the back of the van and don't bloody use the underfloor shite
it's hard to describe, we only found out when we opened another van and got the logbook out of that, i am waiting until someone has a flat on the round and they can't get the bloody wheel out, work time learning on it would be good but they seem to use that on talking utter bollocks instead of telling you something useful

Just get the dom to call the RAC and get them to change the wheel. Book OT if it takes you over your time.
