Uniforms and training

How long does it take to get uniforms and I'd badges also proper training ?

I wouldn't expect training and uniform will arrive a week or so after you've ordered it, you just need your pay number.

You won't get uniform right away. Thinks it either 1 month or 3 months after start date.

It takes around a week after you order it.

Been a postman 8 months now, got a high vis vest and an old oversized coat they found lying around when I first started, 3 weeks ago I got my first pair of trainers. Still haven't got anything else. And cant order online until manager puts me on system which he keeps 'forgeting' to do

I'd like an i'd (or is it ID?) badge. 18 months and it's nowhere to be seen. Sorry, they have to take your picture first......phooww...unlikely it will ever happen then

Uniform took 10 weeks, not even given a hi-vis jacket. Lino was and still is useless,
ID, we have guys who have been here for 6 years and still havent got an ID badge, so dont hold your breath on that one.

I still haven't got an ID badge either after 6 months. I've had my picture taken twice for it but still nothing, I wonder why it's taking so long, surely it's only a 5 minute job?

3 days more training than I got years ago.

I didn't get a uniform for months because back then you started as a casual and didn't get one until you got a contract.

Got my first hi vis 2 weeks ago, it's an XL and is so baggy I can't wear it because its likely to get caught in something.

I'm still using an ID badge that has the photo and writing all worn off, as the new one I got and took back 4 times still doesn't operate the security doors.

I ordered some new shorts last month, they came with the pocket on the right which is completely useless for a right hander, so I'm sill wearing a 2 year old pair.

There's always someone worse off than you......
