Heat wave and Xmas vs Contract hours

if the work schedule is changed due to heatwave where do i stand ?

as common sense i just want to work my contract hours. i would like to help but when RM screws u and issues like unpaid overtime etc etc list goes on- u feel like do your work and go home.

just wanted to know legally where does one stand because# what happens where everyone in a D.O wants to start early or late or may be in December when everything is changed.
