Hi,
I sent a parcel by recorded delivery on 14/6/13. Upon checking the status it says delivery was attempted before 13:00 on 15/6/13 and a card was left. It still says the same as of today. Just wondering if anyone can tell me when it'll be returned to me if no one collects it? I've found a few various answers ranging from 7days- 18days

Recorded used to be 7 days - its now 18 days AFAIK, that includes the new "Signed For" items.
Edit just checked the back of a F739 and it is definitely 18 calendar days for all items.

Checked the tracking number and its now being returned to me. Said it got returned on the 4th, any idea how long it'll take for me to get back?

Normally goes 1st class so you should have got it back by today.

Over here the P739's we get still state "Recorded Signed For items 1 week, Royal Mail Tracked items for 2 weeks and all other items for 3 weeks before returning to sender". Is this a case of the depot never getting newer cards?
