What makes a good Postie?

Just wondering what makes a good Postie? Someone who's been in the job 20 years, someone who does all the overtime going, people who get in early & finish late without claiming OT, people who cut off, people who help others or not, what is the definition of a good Postie? Just wondering, been in the job nearly 6 months and haven't had any feedback whatsoever, I might be good there again..

There's 2 great Posties in our office, they come in early, help the linnos, frame the rounds in mega-quick, out the building before 9.30, take absorbation finish about 11.45 on a easy day, 12.15 on a bad day and rub around, write out form lefts before they go out to chuck through the doors instead of knocking, the linnos think there great as their productive and the rest of us aren't, so there you go that's what makes a good postie, I however must be a s**t! Postie as I come in on my time take my breaks & finish on time, what's your verdict?

You can get a good manager or a bad one, but do you really have to be GOOD to put paper through a letterbox? Perhaps you do, I dont know.
