hi my husband who is a postman has had an accident at work he pays into beneden through his pay things are not moving on at the hospital how do we find out the process of getting things done through royal mail /beneden he is having to wait for a scan till tomorrow or maybe even next day for information on how badly his foot is broken
any information on procedure would be great cant get hold off anyone from his local office as no one answers their phones on saturday afternoons or sundays

Although to be honest they probably won't answer till Monday at the earliest.

I broke my foot about 20 years ago and I was told had to wait a minimum of 24-48 hours as they couldn't get an accurate reading till some of the swelling went down, your husbands delay may be for the same reason. They did eventually x-ray it about 36 hours after the accident, the bruising had erupted quite spectacularly but as the swelling had receded enough they were able to tell which bones were out of place/broken rather just deformed from their normal position.
