Can any one tell me what my options are under DDA for a transfer to processing from delivery?

It would depend on there being any vacancies in processing.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Its funny, my area rep told me today that theres no vacancies but my wife works in the office where I want a transfer to, tells me there are.

If by processing you mean a Mail Centre it might be difficult depending on where you are.
The whole MC rationalisation programme means people being displaced and covered by MTSF.
There might be vacancies but they won't want to fill them if they are expecting x number of people from a closing centre.
(It is very rare for a wife to know more than an Area Rep)
However your situation may well trump all of that. And if your health means you are unable to continue on delivery and a suitable vacancy exists in a MC, then on the grounds of "reasonable adjustments" they might have to offer it to you.
But you'll need that Area Rep to make the case for you.
