Hi just wondered if someone could help. Im on a 25 hour contract. Im normally do well over this but this week I've been on my basic 25 hours, 5 hours a day over 5 days. My dom seems to think I dont get a break though I think I do as it states in my contract. 25 hours a week plus meal breaks. Am I right?

Yes its a contractual right, but not a statutory one. (its becomes a statutory right if you work over 6 hours to have a minimum of 20 minutes)

Get a grievance in, the manager is just taking the piss. Managers should really know this.

Pretty sure the manager does know this, he/she is ignoring it to get more work out of the staff.
