We were told today, our p& l walks are to be moved around, I'm to be paired with a guy nobody can work with, his last two partners went on reserve rather then work with him, he's slow and it looks to me as if he has OCD, everything has to be perfect. I need to be done in time for my wife to go to her job, I cant go over my time, I've told the dom this and he doesn't care, what can I do?

My partner come in before his time,runs around the walk, falls, puts the post in wrong addresses,damages mail, anything to get round as fast as he can, the amount of complaints I get from people is unreal, hes a dickhead and all others that do the same are fools and make life hard for everyone.

Come on guys! There is a middle ground...
Runners and the ultra-slow are just as bad. At least with a runner, you can slow them down but you cannot make a slow person go faster without getting into massive confrontation.
The advise of working to your time does not always work in pair-working and P&L. If you have to travel some distance to your place of delivery, it becomes a bit of a headache cutting off and getting back to the office without cooperation from your partner; unless you are the driver, of course.
OCD - I have seen some minor form of this but not enough to waste too much time...
Patience at first but if it is impacting on you then throw a wobbler.

What I want is to start work at 06.30 and do my 8 hours and go home,its true, I have had a partner that runs around and tells the dom the walk is 3 hours max but the guy Im going to be stuck with finishs 1 hour over most days and on heavy days 2.30 over, dont get me wrong I like the guy but hes a single man lives on his own and has OCD problems Im married,my wife works and we have young children. I don't think you should be using languages like that. Why is wrong the comment? Making one-liners without qualification is not very clever.
How is working to your time solve the problem? If the other guy is the driver, do you take a bus back to the office?
