Heard a rumor that posties wont be able to use their own cars, starting in March. Is it true?

after an office has had its delivery methods revision the use of private cars on delivery is then banned, although there are some extremely limited circumstances where it is allowed to continue

As others have said, cars are banned and illegal to use after your revision.

And also as others have said, you should not be using your own car on delivery. It is just plain mental to do so. Apart from YOU paying the fuel bill and the extra premium on your insurance, you are making it impossible for someone else to complete that round on foot within the standard duty time.

80% of our office use their own cars, walked past one the other day with a full box of last weeks D2Ds on the back seat lol.

Nearly everyone in my office who isn't a driver uses their own car, and with not enough vans to go round and the amount of rural walks i don't see it changing anytime soon?
