a quick question
hello all, I underwent an operation in 2012, and have been unable to return to work since and am not expected to do so until may/june 2013, I have 21 days holiday left for this year and am just wondering what will happen to them? also there may be a slight chance I will be unable to return to work this should be confirmed by june 2013 if i have not returned to work previously so if i hand my notice in would they pay me the holidays that i am owed? just trying to work things out and get a better look on it, thank you all for your help

Your holidays remain your holidays.
If you haven't taken them, then they roll over until you can.
And if you have to leave then your outstanding holiday will be paid to you.
