Employee Survey.

The new survey opens on Monday 18th March.
The management pack suggests free vending for drinks/refreshment while members fill out the questionnaire . :whistle

It will allegedly have a couple of new questions.
I don't know what they are.
Suggestions please...

we should have this emailed to us if we wish to complete it in the privacy of our own homes and not in a wtll session. Don`t forget part of the managers bonus is based on the percentage return for the office.
only 69% completed the survey last year, what are royal mail doing to ensure the remaining 31% complete it this year?

Its already documented on here that you can fill it in home.

As far as I recall employee surveys are voluntary but if it has a sensible question.....................

I fill mine in at home and post it rather than give it to my DIM to post along with the others, after all it is supposed to be anonymous and there would be nothing to stop him taking a gander at what I have put.

One that should be on there is "Were you coerced or forced into completing this survey during work hours"

I started filling them in for the first couple of years, then I realised that nothing changes.

For the last few years filling them in is compulsary in my unit, so I pretend to tick boxed for 5mins, then seal the envelope and hand it back. :Very Happy

No and yes.
I would advise members to fill them in.
I don't want us to end up where only the management "friends" fill them in and Royal Mail then announce that 90% (of those that filled them in) think management are great.

They normally hand ours out at the end of the WTL, after the RMTV video treat. :roll: Everyone rushes to get back down on the floor and does not bother to make any comments. :sad:
