No wages

Hi I never got any wages on Friday because I was off sick Tuesday worked Monday and back Wednesday worked rest of week phoned wages dept they told me my boss has me still sick so I told him and he still has not sorted it I was told by wages dept if he sends email on Friday before 9 am I would be paid he choose not to ! What can I do as my rent has not been paid because of it and I have no money !! I think it is shocking !!

get in touch with the union and explain whats happened if you get in debt or occur intrest to pay make sure you keep a record and also any other payments you make due to this.then ask to speck to your area manager at his office not your own office do this early monday morning if you have a good case you should get a cheque from wages or may be able to get a loan from your union.

Yes I was off Tuesday sick came back Wednesday pay stopped

If the manager is refusing to mark you down as back from work then he must be committing an offence by allowing you out of the office with all that mail.

He cannot have it both ways. Do what was suggested above but I understand its hard to really stick complaints against a manager who ultimately decides if you are taken on.

Say you cannot afford to get to work so will not be able to make it in. He'll soon pay you.

This happened to me once. One day off ill but not paid for the whole week. Phoned the payment guys, they told me I was still marked down as off ill. Told manager straight away. He said something about a new system being put in place which he was not made aware of. He corrected it straight away and I got paid all money owed the next week. Your manager has probably done the same.

yeah same here a few years ago,,,a couple of days off sick,,,an the d.o.m had somehow marked me down oas absent,,,,,it took me 4 weeks of argueing and ringing wages,,,,even they said to me it wa strange i was doing overtime and at the time getting d2d money but my d.o.m had ticked the wrong box somewere and i was off work the divey

He told me he has sorted it but hasn't I'm on a long weekend with no money and had plans with kids !
