Revision with FTC staff in place

Should a Revision go ahead with fixed term contract staff still being in place?

Our revision is underway,the 6 FTC staff,all of whom have at least 14 months service,have been advised it is unlikely there contracts will be renewed after the revision,but it is clear we can't cope without the FTC's,today day 1 of the revision 5 off sick,FTC staff having to fill there boots,what's going to happen post revision when there's no cover.

Should the FTC staff be filling the holes like this and is there some form of process during the revision which will highlight theses shortcomings,after all its only day 1 and 2/3 of the office have yet to commence the revision.

Should there no be a vote in how the surplus hour in the 39 hour week is put in place ?

You should already know what your headcount and hourage should be post revision.
There is no need for anyone who comes under that scope still to be on a fixed term contract.
Anyone above and beyond that figure might be a different story.
