We lost a colleague yesterday
A 38 year veteran succumbed to cancer last night. Very, very sad. He'd been off for a while with what we all thought was just back trouble turns out it was much worse. One of life's nice guys he'll be sorely missed.
I staged a Roger Moore impersonator festival in my local village. There were a lot of eyebrows raised, I can tell you.

Always sad when we lose a colleague, more especially when its sudden and unexpected. May he rest in peace in the knowledge his colleagues are thinking of him.

Very sad cruel world , don't u think that the family should no about this site ok it's probably the last thing on there minds but cud give some comfort knowing that Royal Mail staff are sending there condolences

Very sad, way too young. Thoughts go out to his family.
Rows of houses all bearing down on me........I can feel their blue hands touching me.......All these things in all positions.........All these things will one day take control..........

how old was the guy, so many are just unaware of conditions like this, so sad, any probs get down the gp, the job does take its toll on the body.

Mid 50's, ridiculously young and our last memory is that of a big, strong bloke. carried a sack tied with string rather than use one of the red bags. Just a little update, the funeral is this Friday. 100% turn-out is expected. It's sure to be a sombre occasion

Wow, that was tough. Fully grown men, some with 30+ years under their belt moved to tears by our friends teenage daughter. When she spoke about 'her dad' there wasn't a dry eye in the house. Some humorous moments too as people remembered him.
