I can remember when you were told to do your best and be careful....
Now, claw back, conduct code, your decision.......

Any company I have ever worked for the Manager (usually me) would never even think about leaving until the last driver came back (16 hours was longest wait).
It's tough out there and front-line workers need to know they have support from above.

We have the latest of ridiculous H+S notices gone up on the notice board. A picture of a customers house with snow slipping off the roof. Now we are supposed to look up at peoples roofs and if the snow on them looks like its about to slide off and bury you then you are not to enter the forecourt.

I mean who makes this load of tosh up :d'oh!

Someone who earns a lot more than we do.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

That's only common sense.
If a large section of snow slides off the roof it might take the cast iron guttering with it.
You really don't want to be hit on the head by a 3 foot length of cast iron guttering falling from 30 feet,it would smart a little.

Had a lady throw open the upstairs window and send several feet of icicles crashing down on my hooded, beanied head last year..
so, as you should know by now, anything can happen.. and probably will..
colleagues out on cover, makin' like Tigger across peoples gardens and crashing through frozen ponds..
Arse Over Tit the other day on a smooth (as in custom-made, tw*t) man-hole cover at someone's front door.. .

Doing the rounds on Twitter...

:funneh Opened my door to three inches this morning. Told the postman to pull his trousers up and I also complained to Royal Mail. :left:
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
