Moya thanks colleagues in Bristol and Cardiff

Moya spoke to hundreds of staff in two town hall sessions in the two cities. She also visited a number of delivery offices and mail centres to speak to colleagues and answer their questions...

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

‘We’re making very good progress on transforming Royal Mail, but there’s a lot that’s left to be done. We need external capital. We have spent a lot of money modernising our letters business. We now need a lot of money to do the same for parcels.’
I have never been able to see why, when the government hand Royal Mail a huge loan a few years ago it was decided to use it to modernise the letters business. After all they have been telling use for many years now that the volume of letters are dropping, so why modernise the diminishing aspect of the business? would it not have been better to use the money to modernise our parcel and packets infastructure.

Oh...just spotted the real reason in her quote, "We need external capital" translation Private Capital. So as the private companies can benefit at the taxpayers expense because it is through taxpayers money that the paid for the letters modernisation.
