Question regarding Stage Warning

I've triggered a stage one warning but my useless manager hasn't got round to issuing it yet, it's already been nearly two weeks since the manager last mentioned it and I'm off on leave after next week. I don't plan on reminding the manager either unless I should, is there a time limit that it has to be issued by? Last thing I want is RM to go and issue me a Stage one a month late! That means I have to be careful with my absence for longer in order to clear the stage.

Pretty sure its 3 months from the date of your last sickness, which triggered it

I am sure that there used to be a time limit :hmmmm

Trouble is stage one's are so common that no one seems to bother much, unless its happening to yourself of course. There's no appeal either which is terribly wrong in my book. :sad:

No it doesnt as they will have to back date your stage to when you returned to work, so if they issue you it 2 months after you return youll only have 10 months left on the stage. This is cropping up more and more nowadays with managers just not following correct procedure.

Managers cannot work the new PSP system.
They are utterly clueless when it comes to anything IT related.
It appears to be a business-wide problem.

I attended a stage 2 interview back in september of last year still noyt had notes back or know wether it was issued or not so how do I stand on that one.

Would be thrown out at my place.
Dilemma now,do you chase it or leave it as the longer they feck up the easier it is to get it thrown out.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
