is there an internal jobs site for royal mail, wouldnt mind working at wcm at airports etc on sercurity but no idea how to get into this been with royal mail a while!

I don't think that RM has anything to with security at the airports it uses. Security is probably handled by whoever owns a particular airport

RM don't do careers, they do jobs...........unless you're headhunted into senior management then that's what you'll have to deal with.

haha heres another person whos been with royal mail so long he doesnt know what a half decent job it is u want to try working for asda or working in a warehouse, infact try workin in a call centre where u have to put your hand up for a pi......sss

Call Centre - 7 years in Customer Complaints. Check.
Warehouse - Picker and Stacker for 3 years. Check.
Yet I still recognise, as do others, that this is a decent job once your out of the office, its the poor management ethos and lack of progression that are the bad points.
This is the BEST job I have ever had, but I am not blind to the drawbacks or that unless you wan't to go into management there is zero career progression.

Could I add as 'bad points' the fact that from beginning to end 'equipment' is 'not fit for purpose'; this includes uniform, frames, office layouts, yard layouts, delivery vehicles and delivery equipment.
'Poor management ethos' ( 'The characteristic spirit of a culture, era, or community as seen in its beliefs and aspirations.' ) unfortunately means that low-grade 'bullying' is endemic in the offices that I've been placed at in my time with RM.
