LW trolleys and bad weather

How the hell are we supposed to keep mail dry when using the LW trolleys and driving rain??
These new bags dont seem to be as waterproof as they have been in previous years.
When we have bags on shoulder we have our body and our arms that cover our bags but in driving rain you dont have a chance.
Even using the yellow bags just make it worse because all it does is pond the water in the bottom of the pouch and the letters soak it up .
You cant just flap the tops over the bags on trolleys because sometimes you have too many parcels and also where you pull the straps to clamp your straps to the hooks on the trolley it leaves gaps at the ends of the pouch.
We need a waterproof cover attached to the trolley to cover the 2 pouches on the LW trolley

It's just another brilliant idea by Royal Mail to provide tools that are unfit for purpose.

In this day and age you can buy breathable water proof material. They should be made of that stuff.

I and a increasing number of Posties in our office use Trolleys on all terrains .

Today was a Perfect example of why you should use a trolley crazy amounts of thick heavy catolouges bags very heavy ,crazy putting this wait on shoulder unless you wish to join ATOS Club
