can anyone tell me if you get a speeding fine driving the enterprise hired vans how long and how are you given it, ive been delivery in an area on a main road and half the roads a 30 and the other halfs a 20mph with the tiniest sign ever before the speed cam ive just been thinking it was a 30mph this is after doing the round for 3 weeks!!!

20mph zones are usually around schools or play parks.
The normal timescale for a camera speeding ticket is around 21 days.
It comes through the post to the registered owner,in this case the hire company who will no doubt pass it on to RM etc.

Just read a little on this. The NIP must be served within 14 days to the registered keeper. In this case that will be Enterprise and they must reply with the drivers details within 28 days. Assuming they don't have that info they will probably contact RM or reply giving the name if any of the person who signed for the car. Either way RM would be expected to find out who was driving the vehicle and supply details then you would be contacted directly.

If so you need to get legal advice before deciding to pay any fine and accept any points or contest any decision in court. I would suspect a lawyer would say go to court because you can then state you would loose your job if you recieved a driving ban which they should consider esp as it's non dangerous offence - ie not excessively over speed limit.

I think you can only get 12 points in ordinary circumstances so MAX you are looking at 6month driving ban and a few hundred quid fine. Plus your insurance will go up.

I am not a lawyer or expert, but to trace who was driving the van would be very easy even in a large office. All the hired vans will have been issued with log books and will of been filled out with drivers details, with out them it would be more difficult to prove who was driving, they would need to look at everyone’s duties for each day, could 2 different duties pass the same speed cameras each day in hired vans. I do not recall how often "I do not recall" phrase was used in the many recent government enquiries. A lie will catch you out. Do some cameras show who was driving.

ive no idea. what's that got to do with anything? I read up on it and the law says 12 points on licence equals a ban unless judge takes pity. that's English law - nothing to do with op

I'm no expert but from what I read police Must serve Nip within 14 days ie must send out paper work to arrive at an address within 2 weeks. a hire company gets longer to respond and police get longer to trace missing RK and get the second nip to the correct address but they must send out to the address on the databasebase whether it is accurate or not within 2weeks. could be wrong im not a lawyer.

Warping Spacetime

An Alcubierre warp drive would involve a football-shape spacecraft attached to a large ring encircling it. This ring, potentially made of exotic matter, would cause space-time to warp around the starship, creating a region of contracted space in front of it and expanded space behind.
