Hi all - sent out item on 17th as special for next day delivery on 18th before 1pm.

as it stands, 8.30pm on the 19th, no delivery : (

Get a refund if it turns up, if it does not then claim compensation. It is rare for a special to go missing though, so it will probably be just be delayed with the crazy xmass period.

It could have been missorted to another office and not scanned into the system
either at the mail centre or the wrong office.

Today we had 3 Special packets for an office 25 miles away, our manager just laughed

I would have thought it would be delivered by the 20th Dec

Yeah I know claim for compo etc but a real pain in the ass.

It's a one off item with a one off product > trying to claim the correct level of ££ is gonna send me through loops.

Like I say, I doubt it has went missing, specials are treated like gold by the RM, it would be rare for one to go missing. So you will most likely get your item, just a little later than expected.

specials are treated like gold you are joking may have been in the past but not now.today our reg items came up in yorkes full of packets and parcels.the green reg bags with letters and packets are normaly at the bottom under tracked packets and parcels.on tuesday all the registered for our area was put on the missort run resulting on all the 9.00am red registered not reaching the subs in time.but its not the later starts at fault or the revisions for cuts at fault.

Well in my experience, which is limited admittedly, whenever I take a special out the PHG phones me about a thousand times asking if it has been delivered yet, why the f*** I gave RM my mobile number, I do not know, BIG MISTAKE !!!!!

No, not in the bottom of a frame bag > box is about a foot square is size. Will keep checking over next few days and if no change then may go and have a whinge at DOM see if he can investigate.

Special deliveries are running abut behind so just relax it will turn up just a few days late that's all tracks are important at the moment you will get your postage back that's all

Probably an office somewhere in the pipeline doesn't have the capacity to scan all their specials. With the guns used for specials in MCs if the battery dies and you don't get a new one in the gun in time you loose all the data and there generally isn't the time to scan them again. All the batteries are crap and don't last long.

Well I'd say you have a problem, because it's been despatched to Swindon but is not showing as received there,or despatched to a DO and received there for delivery. We have been receiving SDs loose in the ordinary mail, in Red Jacketed Yorks with a blue seal and in blue bags with blue seals many without Dun notes. Even if it had been received and despatched to the DO without the Dun it should still have been shown as received and out for delivery.
