Childcare issue - Urgent Advice sought

Alrite guys.

Right, i have a dilemma. My Mrs is unwell and will more than likely be going back into Hospital tomorrow and others who would normally care for my 13mth old Daughter while i'm at Work are all sick

What are my options? will i lose pay?? i have tried ringing the office but get no answer - i thought they were working tonight too.

Call them first thing in the morning.

you would be entitled to dependency leave due to the unforeseen break down in child care issue, however whether or not you would be paid or not is entirely at the discretion of your dom

Well, i had to have a second day off today due to the Mrs still being unable to care for our Daughter properly.

I rang in to say i wouldn't be in again and as expected was told by the Lino, well not not sure what the Dom will do ( nailed on no pay because she's like that no question) but in the same sentence it was hinted at to go Sick next time if this arose again!

I nearly did say that to be fair but thought i'd be honest.

Back in tomorrow all being well, tips hopefully will cover my lost pay

Glad you've got your chin up. I thought about telling you to take a couple of sick days but it's a tad dishonest really. I think you know what to do next time.
