Payments on 30hr contract

Any help/advice would be great! (long term follower - first time poster)
For the last 2 years I have been employed on a 30hr contract as holiday leave reserve, however there are no 30 hour duties in our office, so have been told I must work the full 40 hours every week (we have not yet had our revision).
Could someone please clarify my entitlement when it comes to 1)holiday pay 2)christmas bonus 3)revision payments.
DOM says he only has to pay me 75% (for 30hrs rather than 40)
I know many of you will say just work your 30 hours, but aside from actually needing the 40 hrs to support my family, my DOM says I have to complete the full duty I am on.
As I said, grateful for your comments, and if I am entitled to full payments is there any chance you could put up the link to something official so I can put it under his nose!

Everything is based on contracted hours, so unfortunateley your dim is right. You will only get 30hrs holiday pay and 75% of any bonuses.

Yep Dom is right hence why RM love these part time contracts. They give you overtime every week to make you up to full time but holiday/sickness etc... Is all paid at your standard 30 hour rate.

He can't make you do your 40 hours. You are contracted for 30 hours and he can't make you do forced overtime.

It's up to you how you play it, but if you need the money then your stuck a bit. But just remember that for holidays and sickness and bonuses you will be on 30 hours.

Xmas bonus will be £100 if you are doing 40hrs over the Xmas pressure weeks! And my revision payments were almost 100% of a full timers
I am a 32hr contract but most weeks work 40hrs!

Biker, did your DOM just pay you full whack automatically or did you have to fight for it?

DOMs don't control bonus and revision payments.

Its done by HR. Pretty sure bonuses are worked out over previous 12 weeks hours you worked. Ring HR though if noone in your office can tell you.

1) Your bonus will be based on your contract hours unless your DOM has made you FT for Xmas so you should get £75, i got all PT's made to FT for Xmas,
as I was in that position for 6yrs. On pt hours but working FT+ OT and getting less of a bonus than a FT who did no OT.
2) If your on a 30hr contract but there is no 30hr duty then get your rep to see your DOM about getting you made up to suit the duties in your office, if no
joy see the area rep, there is no point having a man on a contract that does not match any duty in the office.

He's never made any of us up to FT over Xmas but we still get Xmas bonus paid pro-rata on Xmas working!
