S/A Collections at Xmas

Every year at Xmas some of us have to cut off in order to get back in time to perform our s/a's.
Since last year all the collections are now done from our main town office so you need time to get there for your start time.
I'm getting fed up with my lino moaning about us having to cut off to do the s/a's at another office.It's not our fault that they moved the collections to another office.
I do 3 s/a's a week,i hate having to cut off at Xmas but they don't have anyone to cover the collections in order for us to carry on with our deliveries.

You are not alone.
The introduction of later starts and "flexing up" mean people are struggling to start their SA on time, or first collections are being collapsed or people are having insufficient breaks between duties to ensure they are being performed on time.

Easiest solution is to do away with SA and install duties.
Do away with overtime and take a few people off the dole.

I know what you mean clash,obviously not easier for people who do s/a's to earn extra money each week but,I think this will start happening more in the future with hybrid duties and part timers etc.
People will have to start looking for other overtime opportunities like taking out cut offs or doing bits of deliveries which are not covered due to sick leave etc.
