Quicky - Wage Slip question

Alrite all

I have gone full time over Xmas but on my pay slip i got on Thurs it says basic pay: Hours 36 , should it say 39 or will that be on next weeks and the week afters?

I'm thinking it should be 39 - tried ringing HR today but shut!

I think the reason for lack of answers is confusion - I just checked my pay chit and there is no mention of hours at all - so I am stumped - mine has a pay rate of xxx.xx but thats it - cant find hours anywhere.

I'm on 30 hours a week but have been doing 40 for the last two weeks (and the next two weeks). I was told it was being put on PSP so no need to claim overtime but after the first week it wasn't there. I was told they'd redo it, but at the end of the second week it still wasn't there. The DOM has now put in 20 hours overtime to get the money to me, but I have no idea how it will be sorted for the next two weeks.

Brilliant RM piss up in a Brewery springs to mind.

It did say on a flipchart in the office anyone going full time over Xmas will be automatically be payed the wage.. and someone wrote in biro next to it " are you sure!"

I started full time on Mon just gone so, do we get payed a week in arrears sort of thing? trying to think maybe that's why.

I can't understand people not having the hours on the wage slip - thought everyone did.

I don't just checked been their years more years I care to mention long time no hour's on the new pay slips old ones yes.

I haven't been in long but I did do pay in my last job so have a slight inderstanding of how things should be.

As I understand it, if it is on PSP you should get it at the end of the week you do it (so yesterday). If you claim it as overtime it should be in your pay at the end of the following week. I guess that full timers just get the pay that is shown in the "pay rate" box, but for part timers it says the number of hours so you can work out the pro-rata rate.

All i can say is they are a bunch of incompetent idiots

I rang HR on Mon like i said and they told me yeah it was late being put on the system blahblah and you'll get it all backdated which is fair enough.

I opened my wage slip today and it goes like this

Arrears of basic pay £57.24
Arrears of delivery supplement 3.32
Arrears of POAL £ - 1.56
Xmas bonus £90.00

NET PAY £146.91

Anyone guess whats missing
